    Season Preview

    Coach Purcell gave SDSB the following season preview information:

    Team Outlook: senior based team, experienced seniors at the varsity level. If we offensively and defensively rebound, limit poor shots, develop positive and productive team chemistry then we will be competitive in February and March.

    Impact Players: Cody Harris, Mike Norberg, Ian Barse, Mitchell Newhouse, Robert Connot, Jake Lewis, Ryne Lees, Robert Connot, John Fierro, Jake Alderman, Greg Schaefer, Jesse Riddle and Jake Seales

    Toughest Competition: SF Lincoln, SF Roosevelt, SF O'Gorman, SF Washington, MItchell, Huron, Pierre, Brookings

    New players to contribute: 11th Ian Barse, 11th John Fierro, 10th Jesse Riddle. All will contribute to varsity.

    ADAM TEMPLETON
    Adam Templeton, son of former Cobbler Coach Kim Templeton, was a 2005 first team all state player for the Cobblers, after starting for the Cobblers for four years. After graduating from RCC Adam was a two year starter for the UC Irvine Anteaters. Adam sat out the 2007-2008 season to be eligible to play for the Drake Bulldogs. In 2010 Templeton was named Rapid City College Athlete of the Year and is currently playing professionally in Europe.

    EUC COBB
    Inducted into the Hall of Shrine List in 1987 by the SD Basketball Coaches Association. Cobb is also in the SD High School Coaches Association Hall of Fame.

    DAVE STRAIN
    Strain, a longtime Cobbler coach was inducted into the Hall of Shrine in 1985 by the SD Basketball Coaches Association.

    STEVE ANDERSON
    Steve Anderson was the 2000 SD Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year.
