COACH CLINT NELSON GAVE SDSB THE FOLLOWING SEASON PREVIEW INFORMATION FOR THE TIGERS:

The Season outlook fo rthe New Underwood Tigers is very optimistic. We are young but return several starters on both sides of the football. Our class this year is going to be tough with Lyman, Philip and White River fielding strong football teams in our region.

UNDEFEATED TIGER TEAMS
Both the 1942 and 1947 Tiger football teams were undefeated. Both teams played 6-man football.
The 1947 team played in the West River 6-man championship against Rapid City Cathedral and ended in a 19-19 tie.

ALEX ANDERSON
