Lyle Hare Stadium (Spearfish)

Black Hills State University is the home of Lyle Hare Stadium. Apologies for not listing Lyle Hare Stadium in the poll, it was an oversight by yours truly. One thing I always notice about this stadium/field is the wind! It seems the stadium is situated so as to maximize the gusts, but in terms of great facilities this is one of the best in the state. 1997 Kelby Klosterman, 12 interceptions in a season

Gary Hoffman was chosen as the 2003-2004 football Coach of the Year by the SD High School Coaches Associate.

MARK KOOL
Mark Kool was chosen as the 1997-1998 football Coach of the Year by the SD High School Coaches Association.

DAVE DUTTON
Dutton was a 1976 all state selection for the Spartans and went to play at the SD School of Mines, and was selected as the SDIC Player of the Year in 1980.

KELBY KLOSTERMAN
Kelby Klosterman was a 1997 All State player for the Spartans. Klosterman then played baseball and football for the University of North Dakota. A highlight during his collegiate career was when he led UND to the 2001 NCAA DII championship. Click Here for details.
