    Season Preview

Coach Joe Waln gave SDSB the following season preview information:

What is your team outlook for 2011-2012?

We look to be competitive with an up tempo approach. We are small in size but have several versatile forwards that can cause a mismatch will bigger posts. Being strong Defensively will be the key to a majority of our success.

Which of your players do you expect to have the most "impact" this year?

Eli Livermont a 6' foot guard, Dayre Evans 5' 9" guard, and Ryan Richards 6' 1" forward will have to step up and make an impacted at both ends of the floor.

Which teams will be your toughest competition?

As always, Pine Ridge and Red Cloud right off the top of my head, but also, Winner will be right there.

Which new players do you anticipate on your 2011-2012 roster?

We have several Juniors that had limited roles last year that will be asked to step up. Wade Porch 6' forward and Jacob Waln 6' guard, along with Senior Jon McDonnell will be asked to put in more minutes.
